Overview
The Image Rotate & Flip tool provides one-click 90° rotation and horizontal/vertical flipping for any uploaded image, plus a fine-angle slider for custom rotation from −180° to +180°. All transformations are rendered on an HTML5 Canvas and can be downloaded as PNG.
How to Use
Upload your image by clicking or dragging. Use the four quick action buttons: Rotate Left (−90°), Rotate Right (+90°), Flip Horizontal, and Flip Vertical. For precise rotation, drag the custom angle slider to any value between −180° and +180°. The current transform state is shown in the badge below the image. Click Download to save the result as PNG.
Background & Context
Image rotation is used extensively in photography for correcting camera orientation, fixing scanned document angles (deskewing), and creative composition. Most smartphones record orientation metadata in EXIF data rather than rotating the actual image file. Many photo viewers read this EXIF tag to display the image correctly, which can cause unexpected results when the tag is stripped.
